ScrubSpend Privacy Policy

Summary

ScrubSpend is a personal finance app built for healthcare workers. We are committed to keeping your information private. Almost everything you enter stays on your device. We do not sell your data, we do not run ads, and we do not use third-party tracking or analytics SDKs.

Information We Collect

Profile details you enter, such as name, role, hourly rate, OT multiplier, and pay schedule.
Shifts, bills, expenses, debts, savings goals, and budget categories you log.
Authentication settings, such as PIN code and Face ID or Touch ID preference.
Local notification preferences, such as payday, bill, and shift reminders.

Where Your Data Lives

All of your financial data is stored locally on your iPhone or iPad using Apple’s SwiftData framework. ScrubSpend does not maintain an account server, cloud database, or backup of your finances. If you delete the app, your data is permanently removed from your device.

Authentication & Security

Face ID, Touch ID, and PIN codes are handled by iOS. Your biometric data never leaves the Secure Enclave on your device. ScrubSpend only receives a yes/no result from Apple. PIN codes are stored securely in the iOS Keychain.

AI Coach, Pro Feature

If you use Pulse, the AI Coach included with ScrubSpend Pro, your question and a short, anonymized summary of your finances, such as monthly income, debt, and savings totals, are sent to our AI provider to generate a response. Conversations are not retained on our servers.

Your Rights

Edit or delete any entry at any time inside the app.
Delete all data instantly by deleting the app.
Disable Face ID, PIN, calendar sync, and notifications from Settings.
